I got a chance to spend some time in the Smith and Wesson booth, playing with all of the new handguns and AR-15′s they are introducing this year. One of the new pistols I liked the best is the S&W1911 PSc.
The PSc is a compact .45 ACP 1911. It feels really good in the hand. Like most 1911′s, the balance is nice and it points well. The gun’s finish is pleasing to look at, and the assembly seems to be very well done.
This pistol is certainly on my short list of compact 1911′s to consider if I was looking to purchase one.

The words “compact” and “.45″ just don’t go together well in the same sentence. Lol~
I buy one soon, love my kimber ultra carry,i got no prob handling 3in 45′s,and with few extras like flashlight and lasre muzzle flip reduced even more.
After days of looking at smaller carry pistols, here is one I can get behind; however, I don’t believe they offer it in the .380, which is more then enough at 5 to 10 yards, if you can shoot at all. Practicing placement is key with any caliber. The .380 affords faster recovery time with less recoil and that makes you and the .380 extremely lethal!
