Has Sellier & Bellot ever made brass for Winchester for the 7.62×54R.I have been told that they make Winchester Brass in 7.62×54R and need to prove a point.

Carl,
I don’t know for a fact, but I have always been under the impression that all of the Winchester 7.62 x 54R brass was made by S&B. That does make economic sense, as Winchester would not want to fire up all of the machinery to make brass for a limited appeal cartridge when they could just buy some from a factory already making the stuff. Don’t take that as a slight toward the 7.62 x 54R cartridge! I love the cartridge and have several guns chambered for it (two M44’s and a 1930).
