Politicians Lie Again: Guns In Mexico Not From USA

By Richard on April 2, 2009 No Comments

As I pointed out just a few days ago, the idea that the firearms used in Mexican crimes are coming from the United States is merely a political lie aimed at abridging your Second Amendment right.  In fact, the lie is so outrageous, you have to wonder why no one in the media even hinted at the actual numbers.

Fox News published a well researched article exposing the lie.  Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, members of the BATFE, and the useful idiots in the media have been pushing the ludicrous idea that 90% of all arms used in crimes in Mexico were smuggled there from the USA.  Fox News found the actual number to be only 17%.

How could the politicians be off by 73%?  By the misstatement of facts, with the purpose of curtailing the rights of the US citizens to keep and bear arms.

I wonder if any other news organization will spend any time researching these numbers…?

Intruder Response Training from Strategos International

By Richard on April 2, 2009 2 Comments

Virginia Tech, Tennessee Valley Unitarian  Universalist Church, Kirkwood City Hall, and Columbine, are just a few names of the churches, schools and workplaces that should be places of refuge, comfort, and learning, but instead are associated with violent acts. Two million Americans face violence in their workplace annually with 1,000 losing their lives. Extremist behavior, hate crimes, and violence associated with big cities are now within the boundaries of small towns and neighborhoods we call home. Over 50% of Active Shooting incidents occur in cities with populations of less than 10,000. In response to the demands of church officials, school administrations, and workplace management, Strategos International, LLC, has developed Intruder Response Training programs specific for each vulnerable environment. Fenix L2D Flashlight Review

By Richard on April 2, 2009 No Comments

An in-depth review of the Fenix L2D flashlight has been posted over at our companion site, BlueSheepdog.com.

We put the Fenix L2D through its paces and found that it is a solid performer with a lot going for it.  Though it is not perfect (see the article), it is definitely worth considering if you are looking for a tactical light at a reasonable price.
