Bloomberg Announces New York Chapter of State Legislators Against Illegal Guns
By
Anti-gun freak Michael Bloomberg announced the formation of the New York chapter of State Legislators Against Illegal Guns. State Legislators Against Illegal Guns is an ugly off-shoot of Bloomberg’s anti-liberty group Mayors Against Illegal Guns.
The forming of State Legislators Against Illegal Guns (SLAIG) was announced last March by Bloomberg in Jacksonville, FL.
SLAIG does not seem to have any publicly accessable website to inform people of their membership or activities. While not surprising, it is disturbing. For example, at the formation of the New York chapter, there were “more than two dozen” state legislators from outside of New York who traveled to the event. Who were they? Who’s dime did they travel on?
In addition to Mayors Against Illegal Guns and State Legislators Against Illegal Guns, Bloomberg has also organized County Executives Against Illegal Guns.
Working from the position that all guns should be illegal, the Bloomberg and the groups work inside and outside the law to eliminate guns from the possession of honest, law-abiding citizens. In one such case, Bloomberg hired private citizens (not law enforcement officers who would have been outside their jurisdiction) to make straw purchases (a federal crime) of firearms in other states for the sole purpose of suing lawful gun dealers. To date, the ATF refuses to prosecute Bloomberg, even though they fully admit his actions were illegal and hindered their own lawful investigations.
According to the Mayors Against Illegal Guns website, the founding members of the New York chapter of State Legislators Against Illegal Guns are:

You know, you really hurt the cause when you object to a group called State Legislators Against Illegal Guns. It makes it sound like you’re in favor of illegal guns, which makes you a nut job!

Hi Paul,
Thanks for stopping by and calling me names. I’m sure even for a New Yorker like you, you would be less likely to do so if you were standing in front of me.
Most people are smart enough to know that Bloomberg and the rest of his ilk believe that all guns should be illegal, and therefore, they are against all guns. The use of a particular name doesn’t change their intent.
But, you know what? I am in favor of a lot of guns and accessories that you might term “illegal.” Things like .50 caliber rifles, AR-15′s, AK-47′s, suppressors, pistol grips, bayonet lugs, and high capacity magazines.
In fact, I may indeed be a gun nut, because I have thousands of rounds of ammunition in my closet, dozens of magazines for my AR, and NONE of my guns are registered!
Again thanks for stopping by.

Richard,
Glad to see I’m not the only nut left on the tree. Garbage like what Bloomberg spouts is unconstitutional. I say we try them for treason.
