Barnes Banded Solid and Triple-Shock X-Bullet Addition Round-out Federal Premium Cape-Shok Line

By Richard

federal_cape-shokFederal Premium’s Cape-Shok line caters exclusively to large and dangerous game hunters. This year, a 286-grain Barnes Banded Solid in .370 Sako Magnum and 500-gr .458 Lott Triple-Shock® X-Bullet option make this line even more complete.

When Stopping Game is a Must
Those who head out after the world’s largest and most dangerous game demand the ultimate in performance. Tough bullets that get superior penetration are the only option. Using second-rate ammunition could result in missing a trophy, or worse.

“Barnes bullets have built a reputation for their performance in the field,” said Drew Goodlin, director of new product development. “That’s why we load these in our Cape-Shok line. The new Barnes Banded Solid option is a great fit for the .370 Sako Magnum. These high energy loads deliver big-time performance and penetration suitable for a variety of game.”

The Barnes Banded Solid is made from a copper/zinc alloy that stays together even under extreme conditions. It won’t deflect or disintegrate when it contacts heavy bone.

The .370 Sako Magnum is also known as the 9.3×66mm in Europe and is a .30-06 necked up to .366 caliber. It is built on a standard action that allows additional rounds in the magazine and performs very well on large and dangerous game.

A new Barnes Triple-Shock X-Bullet in .458 Lott is also now available. These bullets are known for their all-copper construction, great penetration and excellent weight retention. This means they’re perfect for the thick hides and heavy bones of large game.

This ammunition is available now.
