Two new laws in Tennessee give back some gun rights to it’s citizens, much to the dismay of the Tennessee governor and the New York Times.  The laws allow the concealed carry of a firearm into places tennessee_flagthat serve alcohol, and the assertion of the 10th Amendment for any firearms made and sold in Tennessee.

While the ranting by the increasingly irrelevant New York Times is expected, Tennessee Governor Phil Bredesen’s opposition to the state’s citizens is highly concerning. Read More→

AIM, Inc. has gotten in .32 ACP, .38 Special, and .380 ACP ammunition made by Prvi Partizan, a Serbian manufacturer.  These three cartridges have been difficult to find lately, with the .380 ACP being probably the hardest to locate.

prvi_partizanThe Prvi Partizan ammo is brass cased, Boxer primed, and non-corrosive.  The ammo is available in 50 round boxes and is priced at $12.95 for .32 ACP, $13.95 for .38 Special, and $16.95 for .380 ACP.

I’ve shot Prvi stuff before, and I have never had any issues with it.  AIM, Inc. is not a sponsor, but I have bought rifles and ammo from the before.  They always shipped quickly, and I am getting ready to place another order with them tonight.

*** UPDATE ***

Less than five minutes after I posted this article, and less than 25 minutes after I received notice from AIM, all of the .380 ACP was sold out.  .32 ACP and .38 Special is still available…right now, anyway.

FBI background checks are required under federal law for all individuals purchasing either newly manufactured or used firearms from federally licensed retailers. The checks serve as a gauge of actual sales but do not reflect the actual number of firearms sold. Read More→

[Update 12/18/2009: Gen 4 Glock photo is here.]

Pistol-training.com is reporting that they received private confirmation of the new Glock models from another industry professional at the National Association of Police Equipment Distributers (NAPED).

So, despite Glock’s statements, someone at the NAPED conference is saying new adjustable grip Glock’s will be rolling out within a year.  It makes me wonder if someone let something “slip” at the convention, and Glock is still putting the new models through testing. Read More→

The announcement of the adjustable grip Glock pistols yesterday by GT Distributers is still unconfirmed.

I spoke with an unnamed Glock employee in Smyrna, GA.  The woman said that Glock was “absolutely not” coming out with any type of adjustable grip pistol…ever.  The woman stated that Glock has no intention of ever producing such a gun. Read More→
