Hi Mike,

Fenix lights are definitely less expensive, and I have published reviews on them. Check out:

Fenix L2D: http://www.bluesheepdog.com/2009/04/02/fenix-l2d-tactical-flashlight-review/

Fenix TK40: http://www.bluesheepdog.com/2009/05/05/fenix-tk40-flashlight-review/

There are differences between the two brands beyond the price. For example, I believe the SureFire are all made in the United States and the Fenix are manufactured in China. For some, this may make a difference.

I own both brands, and each has its place for my needs.

Thanks for taking the time to post.
