Shawn,

Where are those numbers coming from? None of my S&W M&P have had any problems. Several of my local departments have gone to the M&P (from Glock) and have not had any complaints. What kind(s) of failures have been experienced? Why aren't guns being cleaned? I'd love to get some more details.

This gun seems to be extremely finicky about being cleaned or it jams. 3/10 of these guns fired 200 rounds (werent cleaned, shot 6 months later) and had misfired. 33% failure rate, doesnt seem very good especailly when many tests have found glocks to go 2-2.5 years of regular use without cleaning before a misfire occurs.

I like the MnP, and it's a good design. I'm glad to see it getting LE contracts, because it's a good choice. I wouldn't get rid of my Glocks to get one, but an MnP with a light and CTC grips is a really good package. I hope these departments are at least getting them with lights.
