News Report on the Swiss and their Guns

Someone e-mailed me a link to this September TV news report on the Swiss and their guns.

As many of you know, Switzerland requires military service from its citizens.  Those citizens are then issued rifles, which they keep after their discharge from military service.  The intent of the Swiss government is to have a ready militia of citizens able to fight off any aggressor.

Unfortunately, even in an enlightened country like Switzerland, anti-gun morons do exist.  This news report takes a pretty even-handed look at the policy, how families enjoy the shooting sports together, and what a few anti-gun zealots are claiming.

It is worth watching.
