This texture seems to fall in the personal preference arena. I've heard those who love it, and those who hate it. I'm just glad that the option is available to choose from.

I aquired one of the "New" Glock 19 RTF2s on "Black Friday" 2009
I am realy likeing the texture which is like 80 grit sandpaper which alot of shooters put on thier Glocks..
I figure the ones who "Don't Like" the RTF2 can but the other frame.
I've heard the new 4th generation Glocks will be available after the "Shot Show 2010" will have removeable/changeable backstraps, ambi magazine release, Plus "Maybe" a redesigned slide stop lever & a bit less agressive textured frame..
This is all from insiders who have handled the New Product..
I'm sure glock will keep things simple & make every change swapable to older frames with the exception of the backstraps..
After they have the bugs worked out I'll probobly snag one up..

Also I figure that the RTF2 Glocks will become a short run piece with a small run time & those who prefer a rough texture should run out & buy one before there all gone..
