am i the only one who thinks all of this ‘sissifying’ and girlyfying’ of guns is wrong?
sig is just following the market. thats fine…. i get it. if girls and sissies wanna shoot… great!
But dont take away man size grips and long trigger reach triggers!

i want a pistol with a LONGER trigger reach… not a shorter one! i cant be the only one who feels the same way! i want the pad of my index finger on the trigger…. not my index finger joint!

the new E2 sigs dont have the option of a larger grip. the new E2 ‘short trigger’ with the short trigger reach… i might as well start watching Sex in the City

i know… i know what youre saying… why dont you just get a 226 or a 220?
well, the gun stores where i live only have this new sissy E2 crap. the 226′s and 220′s i find are really old. i mean they dont even have a picatinny rail on them.

guess sig doesnt care about the core fans that started it all for them. its all about breaking into Glocks market share now

look what Glock did to the FS (full size) frame on the Glock 20 and 21. they sissyfied it into the new girly SF (sissy frame) frame.

I just got the P229 E2 (9mm). Took it to the range and fed 150 rounds in, 4 different types of ammo, and not a single issue. Gun is well balanced and action is very smooth. Shoot grouping was tight but a little low and to the left. I contribute that to me not shooting for a while. Group was very tight but off center. Once I corrected, I was hitting center mass.

just picked up my new p226 e2 today, nyc gun owner here
what can i say, if you own a glock youre a shmeckle. low recoial love the single action, double action combo, hate the 10 rd mag, damn bloomberg. but it feels real nice on the grip. kinda sand paperish, but fine for me

P226 has been the US Navy SEAL’s issue handgun ever since the Beretta M9 slides fractured during testing by the SEALS. The lanyard is there for that reason.

The Sig P226 was designed for combat. Many troops carrying the 226 into the field use the attachment point to tether the pistol to their gear, ensuring retention of the weapon on the battlefield. While this has obvious practical application for combat troops, this feature does not inhibit the average shooter in any way.

Why the lanyard loop? This is totally useless to the average user. The 2022 has the same useless feature.
