SHOT Show Coverage

Black Hills Ammunition introduced a new .40 S&W load at the 2010 SHOT Show.  The new cartridge is a 140 grain Barnes Tac-XP pushed at 1150 fps for 411 ft-lbs of energy.

The Barnes Tac-XP bullet is 100% copper, and is designed for law enforcement and personal defense purposes.  The Tac-XP bullet is specifically engineered to maintain full weight and straight track when encountering intermediate barriers such as windshield glass, car doors and plywood.
