Speer originally introduced a 115 grain Gold Dot hollowpoint for the .327 Federal Magnum when that caliber was announced. At the 2010 SHOT Show, Speer introduced a new load in the .327 caliber: a 100 grain Gold Dot.
Rated at 1500 fps at the muzzle, the 100 grain Gold Dot develops a whopping 500 ft-lbs of energy. This isn’t your grandpa’s .32! Compared to the 115 grain version, the 100 grain is 120 fps faster, and develops 14 more ft-lbs of energy.

I think this is going to be one hot 32 round ! It’s good to see more companies making the ammo for it. The guns made for it are small, hold six shots, and powerful. 500 ft-lbs is 500 ft-lbs ! I would not want to get hit with one.
Agreed. I just hope to see a lever gun chambered for the .327. I think that would make a great gun!
