Quicksilver Manufacturing is on schedule to deliver their new titanium alloy .22 suppressor later this summer. The new silencer will be six inches long, one inch in diameter, and weigh a mere 5.6 ounces. Performance? Approximately 25 dB.
The new suppressor will feature a one piece baffle stack, which will be removable for easy cleaning. Quicksilver states their normal centerfire silencers rarely need cleaning, but with the dirtier firing .22, the baffles should be cleaned about every 500 rounds.
The new suppressor should be in dealer hands by the end of summer. MSRP has not yet been set.
