I have received word that LaserLyte is making a Rear Sight Laser for the Taurus SLIM 709 and 740 pistols. The really nice thing is LaserLyte sent word that one is on its way to me for review.

Hi, Im the owner of a taurus slim and I emailed laserlyte about a laser for this model, they said they dont currently have a laser sight for this model and they will add me to the request list, so im just wondering if this report is accurate, im hoping so because I really want a laser for this gun.

100% accurate. I have one in my hand at the moment. I’ll be installing it this weekend and testing it on the 740 SLIM.
LaserLyte should be shipping these in just a few months.

Wow Thanks thats great to hear, I cant wait for your input on it esp since my slim seems to shoot low no matter how much I move up the sights it came with.
they finally put them on their website as rs-ts but not available for purchase yet, I will keep checking back untill the buy it now button appears, hopefully soon!!
I had the same problem with my 709 shooting low. I sent it back to Taurus and the corrected the problem and also paid for the shipping. Taurus customer service was great to deal with and turned the gun arounbd in just over 2 weeks.
My wife has Taurus slim 9 and I have taurus slim 40. Lasers do not come at reasonable price for older seniors on fixed incomes. Laser is the perfect thing for a woman on a gun. Point on target shoot. Simple
Got one of these and installed on my weapon just yesterday. Only took me all of 5 minutes to remove the factory sight and install this one and another 5 minutes to get it set up. I haven’t had a chance to get to the range with it, but can’t wait. appears to be an AWESOME addition and I didn’t have to worry about a new holster. Great product and great idea. A+
