The AKARS is an AK 47 sight rail manufacturerd by Parabellum Armament in Ohio. The rail system is an easy installation for the average AK owner.
The AKARS, or AK Adaptive Rail System, replaces the rear sight leaf and the bolt cover with a Picatinny rail. The shooter can then install virtually any optic on the rail.
The AKARS fits both AK47 and AK74 rifles. It retails for $129.95.

The AK-Adaptive Rail System was designed to fit AK47/74 variant’s. The AKARS unique patented design is allows it to be adjustable to the different tolerances of the variants’.
The patented 3 finger hinge system provides a solid foundation that guarantees’ the shooters return to zero, by eliminating “side to side” movement.
AKARS can be disengaged by a release button located on the system’s Top Cover Mount, located in the rear of the system. When disengaged, the user can flip the rail system up with your optic still mounted.
The patented hinge system has two safety tabs that stop the optic mounted rail system from hitting the hand guard in front of the mount. AKARS installs in minutes, but will last for year to come. Designed & tested by troops.
