Eagle Imports was showing multiple colored frames of the Bersa BP9CC at the 2013 SHOT Show. As I previously reported, Bersa is making a green framed pistol, but they will also be making a tan framed one as well.
The OD green BP9CC should start importing a little later this year; perhaps as soon as the end of the first quarter. Don’t hold me or them to that, though. Since they are being imported, they have a lot of ATF hoops to jump through, and I am sure agents of the federal government are not the easiest folks in the world to work with right now.
I did not get a time line on the importation of the tan version of the pistol. However, I would expect it to be some time this year as well.
I reviewed the Bersa BP9CC earlier this month, and I found the gun to be an exceptional shooter at a great price. The gun they sent me as a T&E, I paid for and kept it. As my wife adopted the pistol from me, I will be ordering a green-framed gun when they start rolling into the country. At the price, I might even call my dealer and tell him I want a tan one also when they start arriving. Like baseball cards, I want to complete the set, right?
