Taurus View – It’s Really Small

Taurus View

In the category of guns that I don’t want to shoot is the new Taurus View.  It looks a little funny, but it is the size of the gun that suggests it would not be any fun to shoot.

The gun is very light, and the grip only allows me to wrap a few fingers around it.  This makes the gun easy to carry, but shooting it might be a little difficult.  Stoke it with 158 grain +P loads and you better hold on tight.  I wonder if this gun will be more or less painful than a DoubleTap pistol…

Leupold Mark AR MOD 1 Rifle Scope

leupold mk ar rifle scopeWithout a doubt, Leupold is the premier name in rifle scopes.  If you want the best glass for your AR-style rifle, this is the scope you must have.  This tactical scope is extremely durable and the optics are amazing.  The bonus is the incredible pricing and that it is made in the USA.

  1. This is one of the most interesting Pre-SHOT guns I saw.

The clear lockplate covers seems hokey, but the attempt to make a chopped and channeled pocket gun impressed me. Somebody is trying something new.

Good review and detail. And yes, it will suck to shoot.

  2. Matthew Carberry says:

I read in one review it is -not- Plus-P rated., which makes sense.

Why anyone would even want to try when there are so many good standard velocity .38 loads out there is beyond me.

For that matter, this would be ideal for a .32 Mag 6 shot, really recreate the “I-frame”.

  3. Get rid of the “view” part, really hokey, make the hammer completely internal, and extend the ejector rod to the end of the barrel to get the most use out of it, and I’ll buy one.
