salvo 12

What is billed as the first commercially-viable shotgun suppressor is now available from SilencerCo.  The Salvo 12 appears to be modular in nature, as shooters can add or remove lengths to alter the amount of sound attenuation and weight desired.  Lengths of 6″, 8″, 10″ and 12″ are available.  It ships as a 12″ suppressor and can be reduced by the shooter.

The full 12″ configuration weighs in at 32 ounces and reduces noise at the muzzle to 137.9 dB.  A 6″ configuration weighs 18.5 oz and reduces muzzle noise to 149.2 dB.
