The New Review of the DeSantis Nemesis
Posted by: | Comments
The DeSantis Nemesis is a synthetic pocket holster designed for a wide number of concealed carry firearms. I’ll save you from the suspense: the Nemesis is an excellent holster that is also inexpensive, making it a great value.
I previously reviewed the Nemesis in August of 2009, but did not realize at the time that the Nemesis had undergone a few design changes to fix the problems I identified in that review. I had the original-style Nemesis, but DeSantis released a new version of the holster a few months before I wrote my review.
In May, Gene DeSantis sent me a note letting me know the company updated the Nemesis. He was kind enough to send me a current sample of the Nemesis for review, and I am happy to say that the holster meets all of my expectations.
High Noon Holsters for the Sig Sauer P250
Posted by: | Comments
High Noon Holsters announced they added the Sig Sauer P250 4.7″ barrel, full-size gun to their entire line. High Noon Holsters is a Tarpon Springs, FL based leather holster maker that makes a wide variety of leather scabbards, including belt slides, shoulder holsters, and inside-the-waistband holsters.
The Sig P250 is a ‘modular’ gun that can change barrel and frame sizes while keeping the same serial numbered receiver. This allows the user to own one gun that can be modified to fit all of their needs. However, some P250 owners have complained that holster choices have been limited. Hopefully, High Noon’s addition of the P250 to their entire line marks a move by the industry to better support the pistol.

Kholster Review – A Second Look
Posted by: | Comments
The Kholster holster, an inside the waistband holster, was reviewed by Tom last month. As Kholster was kind enough to send us several holsters to evaluate, I also have been testing one.
Full Moon Kholster
During the past several months, I have been using the Full Moon Kholster designed for the full sized Smith & Wesson M&P. Overall, the Kholster was very comfortable, secured the pistol well, and did a good job at concealing the duty-sized gun.
The Kholster is a relatively simple design consisting of a round cut of leather with a Kydex insert riveted to the leather. There are also two metal clips affixed to the leather. The clips are attached to the leather by screws. This allows the clips to be moved to other pre-drilled holes, offering a wide range of adjustments to match the individual user.
