Lyman introduces the first new cast bullet data manual in 30 years. It contains data using the latest and most available components for bullet casters.
In addition to chronicling data for Lyman’s entire line of rifle and pistol moulds, the new 4th Edition Cast Bullet Handbook is the first with data for selected moulds from other manufacturers where those bullet designs or weights would be of interest to cast bullet experimenters. New calibers like the Ruger Compact Magnums, .327 Federal have also been added as have a number of black powder loads for the popular older cartridges.
Speer introduced the DeepCurl line of hunting bullets for the hunter who loads his own. The bullets are available in .243, .257, .264, .277, .284, .308, and .338 calibers with various bullet weights available.
Federal is now offering the Trophy Bonded Sledgehammer bullets to handloaders. These large-caliber, solid bullets are designed for hunters needing deep penetration. There are 20 bullets per box.
Fusion introduced handgun bullets designed for deer hunting.
Federal is offering new brass in many common rifle and handgun calibers. Rifle calibers are in 50 count packages, while handgun calibers are 100 count packages.
Speer Gold Dot bullets are regarded by many as one of the best self defense bullet designs ever developed. Speer sells the bullets in factory loadings and as component pieces for handloaders.
Federal is now offering their Bear Claw bullets for handloaders. The bullets are offered in many of the popular larger game calibers, from .284 to .474 (see chart below).
