What happens when you load a KRISS Vector SMG with .45 ACP incendiary rounds? This video. Short but sweet, and in HD.

You may have seen a 71-year-old Florida resident shoot two armed robbers in this self defense shooting video. But it is not likely you have read anything like my thoughts on what happened.
“The stench was overwhelming.”
Using an M16 with a broken stock, a starlight scope and an M14, Ed Eaton fought off an unknown number of enemy in the middle of an unknown rice patty in an unheralded little part of the Vietnam War. In the process, he save the lives of his commanding officer and comrades after their helicopter went down from enemy fire.
Unwilling to leave others behind, Eaton repeatedly put accurate fire downrange, holding off a significantly larger force. Eaton himself was injured: multiple gunshot wounds and a broken back. Yet, he was the last to leave the field, and because of his willingness to risk his own life for his brothers, others now live.
Thank you for your service Sergeant Eaton.

Bin Laden’s dead and gone, but the men and women who fight for us are still in harm’s way. I ask that you remember them in your prayers and offer support in any way you can for their families back home.
NRA’s Life of Duty put together this video of appreciation for their service. If you don’t already, make sure you check out their site. Life of Duty is putting together some amazing videos and an incredible online magazine.
Rational though appears to have fled in the face of demagogues and revolutionaries here in Florida. As such, the political leaders of this state are now “examining” self defense and firearms laws to see what can be done to restrict the individual’s right to live.
On April 23, 2012, the Cato Institute held a forum on “stand your ground” laws and recorded a video of the event. Among the speakers was Massad Ayoob. Ayoob is probably known to most people in the firearms industry as he is a recognized expert on self-defense and firearms, prolific author and long-time police officer.
