Wednesday’s Gun News

Grand Power

With the approach of the NASGW Expo, a number of manufacturers in the firearms industry are spooling up the PR machines for new product announcements. Here are a few of the new items that have landed in my e-mail box the past few days…

Grand Power Pistols Now Imported into US by Eagle Imports

Eagle Imports announced they would now be the exclusive importer of the Slovakian Grand Power pistols to the United States. The pistols were developed by a former weapons officer in the Slovakian army. A variety of Grand Power handgun models will be available, including the K100 pictured above.

LaserLyte Red Center Mass in Tan

LaserLyte

LaserLyte adapted the Center Mass laser to handguns earlier in the year, and now are offering the unit in tan. This is not merely a painted version of the black Center Mass, rather it is the color of the injected molded housing. In other words, scratch it and the color will not flake off. Amazon is selling them here.

New Ashbury Precision Ordnance SABER Rifles

APO SPR-308

Ashbury Precision Ordnance Mfg (APO) introduced a new line of rifles based on the company’s SX line of receivers: the SABER. These rifles feature a laundry list of performance features and precision specifications to make them sub 1/2 MOA performers with premium grade ammunition. The SPR-308 uses a 20″ fluted barrel made of 416R steel and with a 1:10″ RH twist. Additional models offer different specifications. More information on these rifles can be found here.

Christensen Arms TFM Rifle

Christensen Arms

Billed as a tactical rifle, the new Tactical Force Multiplier (TFM) from Christensen Arms uses a carbon fiber stock and precision machining to achieve a very light and accurate firearm. The barrel is carbon fiber wrapped and the stock is made of hand laid carbon fiber.

The bolt and receiver are machined to very precise tolerances. Christensen Arms backs these rifles with a 1/2 MOA guarantee. Rifles will be available in .223 Rem, .308 Win, .300 Win Mag and .338 Lapua.
