If you read through the flashlight reviews listed above, you will see that I’ve added quite a bit of detail including better comparison photos, plus detailed runtime and heat output information. This is one of the projects that I have been working very hard on recently.

It is my goal to provide you with the best information possible. In the case of flashlight reviews, meeting that goal required I assemble testing equipment and software that cost hundreds of dollars. Additionally, I’ve invested hundreds of hours into running (and repeating) tests to ensure that my data is accurate and reliable.

I apologize if this has taken away from my ability to post about new guns and gear as frequently as you are used to, but I think this is an important project. Some of the flashlights I am testing have failed miserably, while others have performed well. Some people may be surprised by the results of my testing. I currently have more than 20 flashlights I am recording data on, with more on order.

Another note of interest is I’ve scaled back a lot of the advertising on the site. While there is still some remnant AdSense ads, I’m hoping that this makes the site look less cluttered and improves your experience. I rely heavily on Amazon affiliate earnings to feed my family and keep this site running. If you find value in what I am providing, I would appreciate you clicking here the next time you need to make a purchase.

I am always open to reasonable suggestions and constructive criticism on the flashlight project and everything else on the site. Feel free to contact me directly or by leaving a comment below.
