Beretta also put together a time-lapse video showing the NRA booth being assembled:
Blackhawk! introduced new holsters for the Smith & Wesson M&P Shield and for the Glock 42. Â Both guns will now have a level II SERPA as a holster choice. Â Also, the company announced the inexpensive Sportster model holsters will be available for these pistols also.
CT is showing a new laser aiming device for the Remington R51. Â It is a Laserguard design. Â The company is also showing another Laserguard for the Glock 42.
The new Model 700 Ultimate Muzzleloader was announced right before the NRA show and is now on display at the exhibits. Â The rifle is, as the name suggests, a muzzle loading gun in the design of the popular 700 series rifles. Â The company claims the gun can push a 250 grain projectile to more than 2,400 fps and is accurate to 300 yards. Â Synthetic and laminate stocks are available. Â MSRP is $1,295.
Paul Carlson at the Safety Solutions Academy grabbed a photo of the really good looking wood grips for the R51:
Sturm, Ruger & Co. is showing the new 10/22 50th Anniversary design. Â The gun is thoroughly modern with little, if any, homage to the original gun. Â The rifle is equipped with an SR556-style flash hider, ghost ring sights, an adjustable stock and a Picatiny rail for adding optics.
The synthetic stock is black and the metal is stainless. Â The gun weighs in at five pounds and has an 18.5″ barrel. Â MSRP is $379.
Smith & Wesson
Smith & Wesson brought a bunch of the company’s performance center guns to the 2014 NRA expo. Â Here is a video showing some of what they have to offer.
A few days ago, SureFire announced a new .22 LR suppressor called the SF Ryder 22-A. Â It is one of the company’s big new products at the show. Â It is a very small and lightweight silencer that really does a great job of reducing the sound signature of the rimfire rounds. Â Here is a intro video on the suppressor:
Taurus is showing off a pair of survival kits that feature the Judge and 617 revolvers. Â The kits include the guns, speedloaders, flashlights, knives, Hornady Critical Defense ammo and more. Â MSRP is $1,399 for the 617 version and $1,499 for the Judge model.
Walther is showing the company’s new CCP pistol. Â It is a single stack 9mm designed for concealed carry. Â This is the first time the pistol has been shown at a US show.
