New Winchester Rifles for 2014

At the 2014 SHOT Show, Winchester Repeating Arms will introduce several new rifles to the company’s catalog.  These include a new versions of the Model 1873, the Model 1885 Hunter Rimfire and the Model 1892 Large Loop Carbine.

The Model 1873 is one of the classic American rifles.  For 2014, Winchester will be offering the rifles in .44-40 Win and .45 Colt now.

Additionally, the company will make a color case hardened 1873 rifle.  The color case hardened model will have a 20″ barrel and will come in .357 Magnum, .44-40 Win and .45 Colt.  MSRP will be $1,579.99.

The Model 1885 Hunter Rimfire is a single shot rifle that will be chambered for .22 LR, .22 WMR, .17 HMR and .17 WSM.  The .17 WSM is the new Winchester Super Magnum that was introduced in 2013.  The rifle has a 24″ barrel with button rifling.  The metal is blued and the stock is checkered walnut.  MSRP will be $1,469.99.

The Model 1892 Large Loop Carbine has a round 20″ barrel with a tubular magazine that matches the length of the barrel.  The buttstock is walnut and has a straight grip.  All of the metal will have a rich bluing.  The Large Loop Carbine will be available in .357 Magnum, .44 Magnum, .44-40 Win, and .45 Colt.  The MSRP will be $1,259.99.

Wish they would come back out with the Trails End model, had to sell mine and would love to replace it.
