Dan Wesson Guardian in .38 Super

Dan Wesson Guardian in .38 Super

Dan Wesson will offer the Guardian pistol in .38 Super this year.  The 1911-style handguns were introduced in 2010 and feature a bobtail frame and match barrel.  Until now, the guns were available in 9mm and .45 ACP only.

The Guardian pistols are designed to be be small enough to be carried concealed, but large enough to be a real fighting handgun.  As far as 1911 pistols go, I like the look of them, but for $1500 I would much rather have a Glock 19 or Smith & Wesson M&P plus about $900 in ammo to practice with.

  1. The Dan Wesson Guardian is one of the finest handguns available in their price range. Well made, accurate and a fine finish make it one of the best 9mm handguns I’ve ever owned.
