Lancer L7 Advanced Warfighter Magazine

Lancer displayed their new L7 Advanced Warfighter Magazine (AWM) at the 2014 SHOT Show. The magazine is specifically designed as an upgraded magazine for semi-auto .308 caliber (7.62x51mm) rifles. The L7 AWM continues Lancer’s famous translucent options in polymer magazines.

Lancer believed that most .308 caliber polymer magazines were not strong enough to sustain repeated firing of the more powerful .30 caliber cartridges. To answer this concern, Lancer combined the lightweight benefit of polymer, with the hardness and durability of steel like their L5 AWM.

Diamondhead Polymer Sights

In a move to expand their popular flip-up sights, Diamondhead has announced the addition of a new polymer line of spring-loaded flip-up sights. These sights will be modeled after the original metal Diamondhead line of flip-up sights, which have been very well received with their ability to quickly guide the shooter’s eye to center.

The new polymer sights are designed to work on all AR-15’s with a Picatinny attachment rail, though they are not suitable for a gas block sight base to heat concerns. In addition to lighter weight, from the advanced polymer/composite construction, Diamondhead has incorporated NiteBrite photoluminescent inserts that can be illuminated with natural light or with a flashlight. This feature will be standard.

Blackhawk Diversion Carry Bags

Blackhawk is producing the Diversion line of carry cases and bags that provide shooters, and CCW holders, the ability to carry their weapons in a more discreet manner. These bags are Blackhawk’s solution for active individuals who carry every day items or sports gear, and need their firearm within arm’s reach in the same bag.

The Diversion bags are fully functional in their general purpose design. Made of high quality 420-500 denier nylon with popular color schemes, the bags blend in with ordinary bags. However, each Diversion bag is specifically designed to house a firearm, and provide quick access to the stored firearm for owner protection. Access is achieved with pass-through pockets, or compartments with large zippers and easy-grip pull tabs to avoid fumbling with fine motor skills in dire times.
